Meet the Founders · Terry's Story

From Homeowner to Co Founder

Terry's relationship with Odd Couple Roofing did not begin in a boardroom. It began as a homeowner looking for answers about her own property.

What stood out was the way the situation was handled. The roof was evaluated carefully, the findings were explained clearly, and the conversation focused on helping her understand the right next step rather than pushing a predetermined outcome.

That experience became trust. Trust became belief in the company. Eventually, Terry went from homeowner and client to helping build Odd Couple Roofing as a Co Founder.

Her story reflects the experience we want every homeowner to have: clear information, honest communication, thorough evaluation, and confidence in the decision ahead.

Our evaluation approach

A Thorough Evaluation Before the Recommendation

We take roofing decisions seriously. Our job is to inspect the property carefully, document what we see, explain the findings, and talk through the available options with the homeowner before recommending the next step.

The Roof Certainty System

How can you make a confident roofing decision?

Step 1

Inspect

We begin with a careful roof inspection that looks at the whole system, not just the obvious damage.

Step 2

Document

We capture what matters so you can review the condition with context and confidence.

Step 3

Explain

We explain the findings in plain language and compare repair options with replacement realities.

Step 4

Repair when possible

When a repair is appropriate, we recommend it first and focus on lasting value.

Step 5

Replace when necessary

When the roof has reached the point where replacement is the responsible choice, we say so clearly.

FAQ

Answers to common roofing questions.

We provide straightforward guidance so you can understand the inspection and recommendation process.

How do I know whether my roof needs repair or replacement?

We inspect the roof system, review the condition of the materials, and explain whether repair is practical or whether replacement is the right long term choice.

What does hail damage look like?

Hail damage can appear as dents, bruising, granule loss, or visible impact marks depending on the roof material and the severity of the event.

Can wind damage occur without missing shingles?

Yes. Wind can cause lifting, loosening, or hidden damage even when shingles are still present.

Do you attempt repairs before recommending replacement?

Yes. When a repair is a practical option, we explain it first and recommend replacement only when that is the responsible choice.

What happens during a roof inspection?

We evaluate the roof system, document visible concerns, and explain the findings in a way that helps you understand what needs attention and why.

Do you help document storm damage?

Yes. We help homeowners gather and understand evidence so they can make informed decisions and prepare for the next step.

What areas do you serve?

We serve homeowners in a 15 mile radius around Roswell, Acworth, and Cumming, Georgia, along with surrounding North Atlanta communities.
